Since 1976, The Center For Hope And Safety (formerly Shelter Our Sisters) has offered refuge to Bergen County’s women and children who are affected by domestic violence by providing a diversified continuum of services that focus on attaining safety, empowerment, and self-sufficiency. The agency’s life-saving programs include: a 24-hour hotline; a confidential emergency shelter; transitional housing, crisis counseling; case management; children’s programming; legal assistance; Hispanic outreach; financial literacy and work-readiness training; follow-up services; and community education.
This month we are collecting food for needy families and donating Thanksgiving dinners. We would like to donate 100 Thanksgiving Dinner Baskets to the Center for Hope and Safety a domestic violence center that services Bergen County women and children. Please donate and help make it a great Thanksgiving.
