The Beacon is a nonprofit organization serving the poor and homelss in Houston, Texas. Our mission is to provide services that restore dignity, self-respect and hope to Houston’s poor and homeless. Those interested in volunteering must be enthusiastic, have a willingness to serve others, and the ability to offer a warm smile to those in need.
