Jake and Max Klein, teen founders of the pro-volunteerism non-profit organization Kids That Do Good and its associated website KidsThatDoGood.com share why joining the Jewish Federation’s iCan Program Advisory Board is so important to them. “I never realized how many anti-Semitic incidents were happening around the country in high schools and colleges – it’s mind blowing. Being a part of iCan has opened my eyes and given me tools to fight back.” – Max Klein.
The iCAN Teen Conference is designed to help prepare high school age teens to discuss Israel and Jewish issues that they will likely encounter at college. At this conference, they will gain a better understanding of the rhetoric around the BDS movement, anti-Israel bias and anti-Semitism. Learn more about the program and how you can help here.
