Volunteers of America – Action Team

When you join the Action Team you’re joining a team that’s more than 50,000 strong.  We’ve got Action Teams of student volunteers in high schools across the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii.  Action Team applications are accepted all year, so don’t delay, join the Action Team today!  When you or your school join the Action Team, you’ll stand with Major League baseball players and Volunteers of America as we recruit and train thousands of high school students to make an impact in the lives of their neighbors in need. Action Team participants receive permanent access to free online, members-only resources and receive free T-shirts, posters and brochures to help support their Action Team efforts. They’re also invited to participate in monthly conference calls featuring Major League baseball players, and are eligible for college scholarships, receive invitations to regional training sessions, end-of-the-year recognition events at big league ballgames, and receive a certificate of appreciation signed by a Major Leaguer!!
