Kids That Do Good co-founders Max and Jake Klein announced the launch of their website, KidsThatDoGood.com, on NYC’s PIX11 Morning News, October 19th.
Morning News Host Sukanya Krishnan interviewed the 14-year-old twin brothers live, asking them how they got the idea for a website to encourage and support community involvement among kids of all ages.
“We saw a need for a website where kids could find charities and organizations that they could help,” said younger brother (by one minute), Jake. Max and Jake told Krishnan that they have been actively involved in community activities since the age of seven—donating birthday gifts to local schools, police and fire departments—and two years ago began to explore ways to enable friends and other kids to start volunteering as well.
