Hope Supply Co. was founded in 1989 as The Hope Foundation for the Homeless and served as a clearinghouse of donated resources for the homeless.
During the early 1990s, mothers with babies and children became the fastest growing segment of the homeless population and an increased number of babies were being born into homelessness. Because of this alarming trend, the Board of Directors changed the name and mission of the organization in 1996 to focus resources on meeting the needs of the most vulnerable of the homeless – the children. We meet the critical needs of homeless children across North Texas by providing necessities including diapers, clothing, school supplies, toys and programs to enhance their lives.
